Things are a little awry at the moment due to the pandemic that the entire world is going through.  We managed to hold our February meeting but everything has been suspended since then.  I am trying to keep everyone informed and entertained through the fortnightly Newsletters and the occasional input from members.  Please keep in touch and let me know if there is something of interest to include.  Meanwhile, stay safe and remain resolute to see this through and come out smiling at the other end.

Just an update to let you know that we hope to restart our meetings on September 15th in the Village Hall – Time to be agreed.  I am hoping to do a “walk through” of the procedures that have been put in place by the Parish Council, very soon.  I will keep everyone informed.

Unfortunately, the day after I did an inspection of our village hall, the Government announced a reduction in the number of people who could mix from 30 to 6.  This made the idea of restarting meetings a nonsense!  The Parish Council did an excellent job in making the village hall Covid secure and I know that when we can resume again, it will be in the knowledge that everything has been done to protect the users.  I must add at this point that NFWI have since confirmed that meetings are NOT to resume just yet.  Watch this space!
